Deep in the bowels of the Smolek Sanitorium, the Grand Basilisk, feared cult leader and ruler of Creepsylvania, watches patiently as the gibbering test subjects are strapped into their chairs in front of a visceral array of wires, picture tubes, and steaming ducts. Dr. Zabor Zongo, expert in mind-control, makes a few last minute adjustments to his creation. He places a crystalline skull into a voltaic amplifier, flips a switch, and as the cold blue glow envelopes the room, he grins.
